WQXE Quicksie 98.3 is local radio station for Hardin County and 9 surrounding counties. We’re dedicated to serving our listeners with great music, local news, and community-focused content. As the hometown voice of the region, we take pride in being active and involved in the communities we serve.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a dynamic On-Air Personality. This part-time role calls for energy, reliability, and the ability to connect with listeners both on-air and at community events. Experience is helpful but not required—we’re most interested in someone who can bring enthusiasm and authenticity to the Quicksie team.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Host a local show that entertains and informs.

•    Connect with listeners on-air, online, and at station/community events.

•    Voice-track segments and assist with commercial production as needed.

•    Represent WQXE at remotes, promotions, and community events (some weekends required).

•    Contribute to social media and digital platforms.

•    Collaborate with programming, sales and production staff.

Qualifications:

•    Prior experience in radio, broadcasting, or media a plus (on-air, voice-tracking, or commercial production helpful, but not required).

•    Strong communication skills with a friendly, relatable on-air style.

•    Flexibility for occasional weekend work.

•    Comfort with broadcast and production equipment (training provided if needed).

•    A passion for local radio and community involvement.

Schedule:

•    Part-time, weekday shift with occasional additional hours.
